Direct bookings
Booking terms
These terms apply to stays booked directly with Le Pied du Loup. Bookings made through Booking.com or HomeExchange remain subject to those platforms’ own terms.
Confirmation and payment
An email enquiry is not a confirmed booking. Dates are secured after written confirmation from the owner and receipt of full payment by bank transfer. Payment details and the total price, including any applicable fees and taxes, are provided before confirmation.
Cancellation and rescheduling
The direct rate is non-refundable. One complimentary rescheduling request may be made no later than 14 days before arrival. The replacement stay must take place within 12 months, is subject to availability and must be of at least equivalent duration. Any price increase remains payable; no refund is due when the replacement stay costs less. Rescheduling is not guaranteed within 14 days of arrival.
If the owner cancels the stay, all amounts paid will be refunded in full.
Security deposit
A €500 security deposit is required before arrival. The collection method is specified with the booking confirmation. It is released or returned within 7 days after departure, subject to any justified deductions for damage, missing items or exceptional costs caused during the stay.
Stay rules
- Minimum stay: 2 nights.
- Check-in from 4 pm and check-out before 10 am.
- Non-smoking property; no pets.
- Maximum occupancy: 7 guests, subject to the number accepted at booking.
Direct-booking offer
When two nights are booked directly, the Thursday, Sunday or Monday night is complimentary, excluding French school holidays and public holidays. The offer is subject to availability and cannot be combined with another discount.
